Environmental sustainability
This involves using materials and resources that help protect the planet and reduce your carbon footprint.
Social sustainability
This means using fabrics that have not been processed and manufactured exploitatively.
Economic sustainability
covers practices that can be adopted without producing products that are unaffordable for the people of the region.
Sustainable fabrics cause less (or no) damage to the environment or society throughout their lifecycle of design, manufacture and subsequent disposal. They are often made from natural or recycled materials. While no material is 100% sustainable, the benefits of adopting better fabric choices will be immediately apparent and have lasting effects.
